Originally from the Northern Territory, I’ve had the pleasure of calling Newcastle home since 2022. I have worked as a psychologist for eight years in a range of roles and have experience working with across the lifespan. In my roles in schools, community and private practice settings, I’ve conducted assessment, provided parent support, and group-based interventions. These experiences shaped my desire to study family therapy, and explore the ways we can strengthen connections and improve communication patterns to foster greater wellbeing in families and communities. I have a particular interest in working with adolescents and their families and I enjoy the dual approach psychology and family therapy offers. I have completed my Graduate Diploma in Family any Systemic Therapy and plan to continue to my Masters.

In my practice, I aim to bring a warm and grounding presence shaped by my deep appreciation of people from different walks of life. I hope to provide connectedness and safety that supports individuals and families to face their challenges with clarity, effective communication and confidence.

My practice is informed by contemporary family therapy models and uses a variety of therapeutic approaches within sessions. Work is collaborative and tailored to the needs of the individual and family, looking at the unique adaptions and strengths within the family system and the ways that can guide interventions.

Outside of work I love to cook for others, read, and spend time with my family. I am fortunate to live close to my niece and love doing things with her. I aspire to own a dog as they were a form of delight in my childhood.
